An AI coding agent that runs on the key you already own

InTab's agent is a chat pane wired to the rest of the toolkit: it reads and edits the files in your InTab workspace, runs code, and streams the answer from the model provider you chose into this tab. You bring the key, so you choose the model and see the real cost.

What it does

• Bring your own key — Use a key from OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini, or point it at your own LM Studio server. There is no InTab account, no subscription and no middleman billing.
• It edits your workspace — The agent has tools for reading and writing files, running code, and checking its own work, so a change lands as an edit you can review rather than as a paragraph of advice.
• Your key is encrypted at rest — The key is stored in this browser with AES-256-GCM encryption. Requests go from this tab to the provider; if the browser cannot reach it directly, the same request is retried through InTab's relay — the privacy policy explains what that relay sees.

What it does not do

The agent needs a connection and your own model credentials — there is no built-in model, because there is no InTab server holding one.

InTab is free and runs in this browser tab. There is no account, no sign-up and no login screen. Requests leave the tab when you start them — an AI prompt to the provider you chose (including the AI actions in each tool, which send the content they name), an API call, a web search, or an optional encrypted backup to your own Google Drive or OneDrive.
