Compare two files side by side, without uploading them

Paste two versions of a file and see exactly what changed. The diff is rendered by the same editor engine the rest of the app uses, so the comparison is a real line diff with change navigation rather than two texts stacked next to each other.

What it does

• Split and inline views — Read changes side by side, or collapse them into one column when you want to read the file as a document.
• Whitespace controls — Ignore trailing whitespace and line-ending noise so a reformatted file does not hide the one line that actually changed.
• Compared on your device — Both sides are compared in the page, not by a web service. They leave the tab only if you use an AI action, which sends the diff to the AI provider you chose.

What it does not do

Text comparison only — there is no binary, image or PDF diff on this page.
